Hooray Open-All Weather- All Year

Kloofs Caravan Park is set in lovely rural East Sussex, overlooking the South Downs, but within easy reach of Eastbourne and Hastings, on the outskirts of Bexhill-on-Sea, 1 mile inland. Our local ‘Blue Ribbon’ award beach is Cooden Beach.

The Park has an aura of peace, tranquillity, friendliness, freedom and is a perfect bolthole in the countryside. The touring park is broadly in two sections; the open grass Lower Paddock, edge with large Oaks, sided to the horse grazing field and wonderful views over the surrounding fields. The West Paddock is lined with established Oaks offering more shade and views of animals grazing and the South Downs beyond.

All caravan and tent pitches are individual, with some grass group areas. To ensure All-Weather, All-Year opening the pitches are specially built with hard, drained sub-bases top covered with grass lawn or stone finished. The whole area is a view of grass, interrupted by landscaping, with unique modest terracing and endless planted islands, both shrubs and trees. You can pick fruit or herbs, if you are first in the queue.

There is a play climbing area for younger guests where they play in complete safety as the whole touring area is fenced in. The second ablution facility is next to the touring area and boasts of unique facilities not normally found on ‘standard’ parks.

The flagship of Kloofs is the ultra modern, centrally heated toilet and shower block which provides a superior standard of facilities for all campers, All-Year round, F R E E. The tastefully decorated, bright and airy toilets and private washing wells are definitely one of the best that you will have ever seen or used, as we are told constantly.

The shower cubicles are enormous, boasting hot, high-powered, body and head spray. When there is snow outside your toes are warmed by the under-floor heating, whilst the body jet massages your back. For those with younger children, there is a large family shower room. In addition to the shower cubicles there are large personal washing wells, complete with vanity unit and mirror. There are free hand and hair driers. We also cater for baby bathing and changing.

Additionally, we cater for the Disabled camper, with facilities designed by a wheelchair bound person. Please telephone prior to your visit so we may explain to you exactly what we offer.

The large, heated kitchen offers sinks for veg preparation and washing up. Adjacent is our laundry with washing machine; tumble drier, spin dryer and iron -for those who want to look their best.

There are two chemical waste disposal points for cassette toilets and a nearby dump point for the use of relevant vehicles.

Reception and Shop
Outside reception is a campers seating and reading area, complete with a small library and tourist information. The shop offers basic requirements such as bread, milk and ice cream. We also stock camping essentials and Gas/Gaz. Daily newspapers can be ordered in high season.
