La Cascade has a long season and it is within sight and sound of the waterfall from which it takes its name. It is only 2 km. from Bourg-d’Oisans which lies in the Romanche valley 725 m. above sea level surrounded by high mountains. The area is a sun trap and gets very hot in summer. The site has 133 individual grassy pitches, 106 for touring units on mainly flat ground and of varying size. Although most are quite adequate, larger units are best near the entrance as the pitches and roads do become narrow. All have 16A electricity.
