Great, convenient location not far from the GTA. Lots of activity and friendly faces. The river has a sandy bottom and gradual entry for swimming. Swimming area is marked with a rope for the little ones. Shore fishing is available, as are docks for boating.
trailergalI was one seasonal at this park and the ONLY reason I was, was because it was close to the city. I had to be near the city so I had to ENDURE this campground. It never got any better, year after year. In fact any self-respecting seasonal at that campground is only there because of its' proximity to the city/work. Indian Line IS a plague. Drunken fights, knifings & stabbings and the park is run like a joke. The employees act as if their job is a hobby and it's run by a man who can't say no to anyone's face but walks away from the conversation, never to even revisit your issue again. It is too expensive and gives you nothing for your money. The wifi barely works, just like the employees. Most of the seasonal occupants are friendly by day and dangerous by night. Weekenders are rowdy and tear up the place and then it never gets cleaned up properly after they're gone. The washrooms are hideous and filthy. Security guards sleep on the job, year after year. Wood is brought in from outside and they do nothing about it, even though you'd think their main job is to take care of the grounds, which includes the trees. Just about every rule for their pool is broken and they don't watch, enforce or care. We've been RVing for 5 years and this is THE WORST campsite we've ever stayed at. Indian Line Campground is dangerous, unfriendly, unkempt, overpriced and don't bother complaining to upper management because they aren't any better. It's basically a parking lot with a few trees. Save your money, go to a non-TRCA park
